TOP
PERFORMER
BY JAN WALLEN
Top performer is an apt description for David
Nelson. He began in Corporate America where he was a top performer in the
securities training industry, and is now the top money earner in his network
marketing business.
David chose to leave Corporate America after
becoming discouraged over “the politics and lies.” He then worked with other
entrepreneurs in small businesses. He describes this experience as successful
but frustrating. The logical course was to strike out on his own, and twenty
years ago he did just that. He has been in Network Marketing for eleven years.
He began to earn a profit after approximately twelve months in the industry.
He says his parents had the greatest influence in
his life by what they taught him through word and example. David has several
heroes. He names Jesus as a hero for the teachings, the perfect example, and the
outlook of the future.
Another hero is Michael Jordan due to his
discipline and commitment to excellence and teamwork. He also admires eagles
because they are the symbol of visionary leadership.
One award that has great meaning for David is his
company’s Crusader Award. He was the first one to receive it, and it has
subsequently been named The David Nelson Crusader Award.
David writes articles each month for Cutting Edge
Media publications. He has also produced several audio cassette tapes and
training materials.
When asked what was the best thing about being in
business for himself, David replied, “I like the freedom, flexibility, and the
unlimited potential to obtain the rewards of my personal efforts in many areas
of life."
David Nelson is the personification of what a Top
Performer can achieve.
