As a business person our ultimate goal is to be in business for ourselves to earn a profit! 

Basic Accounting 101 states that Income(-)Expenses=Profit!

I don't want to get into what makes up expenses except to say that you will have fixed and variable 
expenses when you operate any business.

The nice thing about operating a home business is that you are able to eliminate most all of your expenses 
compared to a traditional business.

That right there is the single biggest reason you can be in a profit mode almost from day 1. You do not have
to incur a lot of expense to create an immediate income.

When you look at the other 5 "P's".........

1. Product
2. People
3. Price
4. Promotions
5. Persistence

you really begin to understand how it is that so many new businesses fail in the first 5 years. There are alot of
variables that go into the 5 "P's"! 

The American Dream of Free Enterprise is founded on the principle of FREEDOM of choice! 

You get to choose how you run your own business. You make the decisions. You put your neck on the 
line everyday!

Internet Marketing or making money from the comfort of your own home is no different. We get up everyday and put 
our neck on the line to  fulfill our "DREAM" of making money  from the comfort of our own homes.

The nice thing about running your own home business is that you are able to eliminate most of your fixed and
variable expenses and still create a very large income on an ongoing basis!

There is one big difference between an Internet Marketing Business and a Traditional Business. 

To make a profit in internet marketing you have to  become very good at advertising and promoting on the 
internet! If you can create a system for promoting your  products without incurring a large expense than you are 
off to a great start.

As your income increases then you can re-invest some of your profits into more advertising and promotions
to increase your business even more.

This is not an exact science, but as you get better and better at it you will begin to get your own system almost
down to a science.

One of the greatest marketing books of all times is "Scientific Advertising" by Claude Hopkins. 
This is a masterpiece that has withstood the test of time.

You can be in a profit situation from day one with many products and programs you join. This is why I like selling 
products online. There is very little upfront money required and I can be in a profit situation almost from day one.

Did you get that?

Many of you are still looking for a way to make money with  your own home business. I am here to tell you that you can 
do that with a telephone and your own computer. 

With many programs today you don't even have to pick up the  phone and call anyone! That really just leaves the monthly 
cost of the your internet provider and your time as your only 2 required expenses. 

With a couple of sales you are in a profit mode.

With referral programs that cost money to join a number of those now make it possible to recruit affiliates to 
help in covering the cost of the program itself.

"Recruit 3 and Yours Is Free" is a catchy phrase I see  all the time. Why? Because the commissions you make on
the sale of 3 products is equal to or greater than the cost of the program itself.

Host4Profit is that way. So is Six Figure Income Marketing Group. As are hundreds of others. When I got my own website
set-up FREE by The Home Biz Guy I liked the idea that I could re-coup the cost of the hosting right away with 3 sales. 

If you have to host and have a domain name anyway why not get  paid to do it. Their referral program makes it easy to be in a

So to summarize GREAT PROFITS I look at every business I join with this bottom line. 

* What are my start up costs?
 
* What is the market for this product? 

* How long is it going to take me to create enough income   to cover my monthly expenses! 

* How long until I recoup my start up costs?

If I like what I see then there isn't any reason not to get started. The internet makes it possible to be involved in many different 
programs at the same time. After you have one program up and running then you can join and promote a new one. 

I know of people who are involved with and running as many as 10, 20, 30 or more programs at a time! Think about that. Once you have your own 
successful system in place you can market any product you want with a profit and then go on to the next one. This is a really powerful concept 
when you comprehend it!

Not easily done......but with a lot of hard work and some business smarts (experience is the best teacher) you can be on your way to 
running your own PROFITABLE home business!
