Τι είναι το Network Marketing;

Το δικτυακό marketing (network marketing), το οποίο επίσης είναι γνωστό και ως πολυεπίπεδο marketing (multilevel marketing - MLM) είναι μία μέθοδος πώλησης αγαθών ή/και υπηρεσιών διαμέσου συνεργατών.

Οι εταιρείες, οι οποίες προωθούν τις πωλήσεις τους μέσω του πολυεπίπεδου marketing, υπόσχονται ότι, εάν εγγραφείτε ως συνεργάτης, θα λαμβάνετε προμήθειες, τόσο από τις πωλήσεις σας των αγαθών και υπηρεσιών της, όσο και από τις πωλήσεις νέων συνεργατών της εταιρείας, τους οποίους εσείς έχετε συστήσει.

Οι εταιρείες σας πληρώνουν προμήθειες για τις πωλήσεις τις δικές σας, για τις πωλήσεις των συνεργατών, τους οποίους εσείς έχετε εγγράψει (αυτοί οι συνεργάτες αποτελούν το πρώτο επίπεδο), αλλά και για τις πωλήσεις συνεργατών, τους οποίους έχουν εγγράψει οι συνεργάτες του πρώτου επιπέδου σας (οι συνεργάτες αυτοί αποτελούν το δεύτερο επίπεδο σας). Υπάρχουν και εταιρείες οι οποίες πληρώνουν προμήθειες και για περισσότερα επίπεδα (τρίτο, τέταρτο κλπ). Όλοι οι νέοι συνεργάτες, οι οποίοι τοποθετούνται στα επίπεδα κάτω από εσάς αποτελούν την «γραμμή» σας (συνήθως λέγεται downline ή powerline).

Εάν μία εταιρεία πληρώνει προμήθειες μόνο για την εγγραφές νέων συνεργατών, τους οποίους εσείς προτείνεις στην εταιρεία, προσοχή! Πιθανόν να πρόκειται για μία παράνομη δραστηριότητα, η οποία είναι γνωστή με το όνομα «πυραμίδα». Ένα σύστημα πολυεπίπεδου μάρκετινγκ πρέπει να πληρώνει προμήθειες μόνο για πωλήσεις αγαθών ή υπηρεσιών, όχι για την «στρατολόγηση» νέων συνεργατών.

Γιατί η «πυραμίδα» απαγορεύεται; Διότι τα συστήματα, τα οποία πληρώνουν προμήθειες μόνο για την στρατολόγηση συνεργατών, αναπόφευκτα καταρρέουν, όταν δεν μπορούν πλέον να βρεθούν νέοι συνεργάτες. Και όταν αυτό συμβεί, οι περισσότεροι συμμετέχοντες στο σύστημα, ιδίως αυτοί οι οποίοι ενεγράφησαν τελευταίοι, χάνουν τα χρήματά τους.
